Natural hairstylists of Tru Rootz New Orleans is bringing to the people of the city the concept of living, loving and learning the greatness of Natural Hair education, trends and fashions. This event will be catered and includes booths and information on the natural hair culture as well as a show to wow and woo the public on the many ways to style your look within the natural hair genre. Fashions include apparell from Tiffani Sheriff's Confess Boutique and designs from A.L.C. by AL Beauti as well as a runway performance by Al Beauti who will be a hair model for the event as well.

The individuals of the HAMP group (HIV Awareness Music Project), have collaborted with dozens of sponsors from the New Orleans area to orchestrate this fundraising showcase in effort to help fund medical care and research of HIV awareness in Louisiana especially due to the substantial rate of HIV contraction as of late, putting Baton Rouge at the #3 spot and New Orleans at the #2 spot for known positive HIV tested cases. This event will feature an impressive roster of musical acts based out of New Orleans and will include a fashion show at the intermission of the musical acts. Runway performance and A.L.C. New Orleans is joining the ranks of prominent fashion cities by launching its 2nd annual New Orleans Fashion Week via CEO Conrad Lamour at the Art Egg Studios in New Orleans. Designers from all over Louisiana will be showing and in attendance to view the latest and the greatest of what Louisiana has to offer in this season's new styles, trends and fashions. There will be a Valentino DVD Release Party directly following the runway premeire on Friday Evening. The premeire runway show will include fabulous fashions from menswear, womenswear, bridal apparell and more featuring the A.L.C. Alasdair & Posh Pussycat lines by Al Beauti. Please be in attendance to see the elite fashions to come from Alasdair.
