UntIDe:
Untide clothing line maintains production under the basis that at least 80% of its products are assembled using recycled clothing mainly cotton T-shirts as a starting template. Fabrics and/or materials within the different collections of Untide may be reflective or symbolic of the different attributes representing the Untide attitude, essence and mission to the masses. Each piece is simply a work of art in the designers’ eyes formatted to live up to the ideal that art is a privilege but not necessarily a luxury that cannot be attained by admirers with the feeblest of budgets. Art is for everyone, and as the designer of these works, I intend to gift that to all who apply.
Untide Attitude:
Unitde is of youthful splendor, fun-loving fantasy within the parameters of budget and comfort. Its rebellious nature is the answer to the artist’s need for alternative to tradition. It is adventurous in spirit and provocative in its application of color combination, it is refreshing to all who tire of routine and slave to the norm. It upliftingly visually conveys the “undesirables” we associate within society; therefore, it is imperfect in its being but beautiful in the eyes of its beholder.
Untide Essence:
The garments of Untide zestfully portray a new take on street fashions and urban wear; it is created to inspire innovation, as innovation is an imperative tool used in its creation. It demands attention and does not give in to trend.
Untide Mission:
The clothing and designs of Untide will continue to evolve into the idea that people are meant to own things that make them feel special and that adorn characteristics that reflect their own life’s joys, struggles and climactic moments, that make them feel shameless, that make them feel unique. Having the ability to associate with a brand that makes them feel accepted without having to conform, that with very little effort, make them feel as though they can righteously invest in self-expression via Freedom of Style.
