The core of Beauti...
I was born a valiant virgo with a full head of hair and a sideways mug. I must have been born knowing where I was. At Baptist hospital in New Orleans, LA in the year of 86' when 20 years from then everything from this very year was to be imitated by all things pop. Growing up being so talented but so timid was a feat because of my indecisive mentality and lack of confidence. As I started to strengthen my faith in spiritual realms and find my identity in the world, I also started to strengthen my faith in my talents and finding my identity as an artist. At young ages I had a love of singing and writing, fashion and designing. I was a prominent young poet in the speech club and a dedicated young actor in the drama club. I also participated as a young print model for hair calenders, was an active tomboy in any sport I excelled and loved things like riding horses, playing the violin and gardening.
Oh yes, I was a lover of life and was quite the dabbler! lol.
As I got older, and more refined at my ideals of what I really wanted to exert my efforts and talents into I was suctioned into the world of fashion by my inspiring peers and by age 17, was called by my best freind to assist and be featured in a fashion show we were to produce. And Wam! My head hit the deep waters of the world I was to engulf myself in. The next summer at age 18 we did the same before taking our paths to different art schools where we were both to enroll in art academies in the direction of fashion design.
My path was a new life in Atlanta, GA. This is where I met one of my mentors, CEO of Diva Day International, MsNickee Mack. She, with the assistance of my diligence, determination and drive, built my resume and my name in the city of Atlanta to a buzz that lingered through some of the underground fashion community. I learned the true trade of modeling and networking to my benefit, also building a rapport with some of my most important clientele, resources and beloved freinds and mentors. As life threw its speed and curveballs into my playing feild, I managed to maintain the love of my labour and grew strong through the circumstances until I could not avoid relocating in mid 2009 due to the passing of a member of my immediate family.
As my new chapter began, I had once again joined the forces of my most beloved close freinds as I have developed a new purpose of being, to add to my already so meaningful existence. I have not abandoned my Diva Day and G.O.W. family in Atlanta, but have united them with my Aye Lifestyle family in New Orleans and all things to come from this point on will be far more powerful in my new numbers than I could have done before. I am so happy to continue pursuing my dreams in a manner which I previously did not imagine and soon we all shall get the recognition and success we have worked so hard to gain.
